Advance Ply is the plywood brand of Amba Panel India Private Limited, a wood panel manufacturer that has been in production since 1991. Every product sold under the Advance Ply name is made at the company’s own factory in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, and carries certification from the Bureau of Indian Standards.
The range covers plywood, block board, flush doors, shuttering plywood and edge band tape. These boards go into modular kitchens, bedroom wardrobes, office and retail interiors, and concrete formwork on construction sites. They reach the market through an authorised dealer network across 16 states.
Advance Ply has one tagline, Quality with Honesty. It is printed on every board, and it is the standard the company holds itself to on grade, on certification and on supply.
How Advance Ply Started?
The company began in 1991 in Ghaziabad as Amba Industries Private Limited, founded by three brothers: Mr. Rakesh Salhotra, Mr. Praveen Salhotra and Mr. Subhash Salhotra. It opened as a single manufacturing unit making plywood, doors, block boards and shuttering plywood under the brand name Advance.
Over the three decades that followed, Amba Industries became Amba Panel India Private Limited (CIN U74899DL1990PTC038809) and production moved to a larger facility in Hapur, Uttar Pradesh, a short drive from New Delhi. The plant was rebuilt around repeat pressing and both-side calibration, and the range grew from a handful of boards into a full panel portfolio.
The brand name did not change. Advance Ply boards are still manufactured in-house at Hapur rather than bought in and rebadged, which is what allows the company to certify grade and stand behind warranty on its own production.

What HEXAPRO Technology Is?
HEXAPRO is Advance Ply's own manufacturing process, and it is where the brand's three claims come from: strength, perfection and protection. Three things happen to a board under it.

Strength
Four times pressed
Each board goes through the press four times instead of once. Repeat pressing compacts the veneers and the glue lines, which is what produces the density and flatness the finished sheet is rated on.

Protection
Two times treated
The board is treated twice against termite and borer during manufacturing, so the protection sits inside the panel rather than being applied to the surface after it is made.

Perfection
Calibrated to ±0.2mm
HEXAPRO boards are built with a mechanically composed core and a composed panel, then calibrated on both faces to a thickness tolerance of ±0.2mm. That tolerance is what lets a carpenter cut, join and laminate sheet after sheet without correcting for thickness variation across a board or between boards.
HEXAPRO runs across the Advance Ply plywood and block board ranges. The certification, resin class and warranty carried on top of it vary by product.

Our Core Value

What Advance Ply Manufactures?
Plywood
IS 303 and IS 710 certified boards from MR grade through BWR and BWP marine grade, plus IS 5509 certified fire retardant variants. Warranties run from 10 years up to a lifetime warranty on Advance Ply Tungsten.
Block Board
IS 1659 licensed block boards in BWP and BWR grades, built on imported pine frames and battens, with warranties from 10 years up to lifetime.
Flush Doors
Advance Door Gold and Advance Door Silver, manufactured to IS 2202 Part 1.
Shuttering Plywood
Film faced shuttering plywood for repeated concrete formwork, with a dense phenolic film surface for a smooth concrete finish and reuse.
Edge Band Tape
Advance Edge Match - Matching edge banding for the plywood and block board range.
